The Holy Spirit Ski & Snowboard Club will grace the rolling slopes of Afton Alps for 6 Friday sessions this winter from 4:30-9 p.m.
Due to the bus driver shortage, Holy Spirit is unable to provide transportation. Participants will meet at Afton Alps at 4:30 p.m. to pick up tickets and assemble as a group. If you can’t get there that early, we’ll arrange another way to get your lift ticket.
If you have season passes to Afton Alps, you do not need to register, but please email Jerry Spartz for inclusion on the mailing list for changes, permission forms, chaperone requests, etc.
Required Form for Students
The Consent Form and Liability Waiver must be completed and returned to the school office by Thursday, Dec. 19.
Parental Supervision
Students in Kindergarten–3rd grade must have parental supervision with them at all times at Afton Alps. All students 4th–8th grade must have a responsible adult on site at Afton Alps.
Additional Information
The recommended arrival at Afton Alps is 4:30 p.m.
The departure time is up to each family. Afton Alps closes at 9 p.m. on Fridays.
The chalet location will be confirmed in the weekly club email, likely the Alps Chalet for the December session, then the Meadows for other sessions.
There is an optional parent meeting each week at 7:30 p.m. at the Highland Chalet (details provided in the weekly club email).
Other additional details will be covered in the weekly club email that will come out earlier in the week of each trip.
Afton Alps has a few quick service restaurants, but the ski area is cashless so you will need a credit card or debit card. Many families choose to bring their own food—this is recommended to avoid long lines.
