A Message from Mrs. Mendenhall and Mrs. Simpson About the Concert
Dear Holy Spirit Families,
The K–8 students have been working very hard preparing the music for the Advent Lessons and Carols Concert! Attendance is so important, as we need each voice to make this concert happen. We have several pieces of information to pass on to you regarding the concert.
The Advent Lessons and Carols Concert is on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. Performance
Students must be in uniform during the school day. Even though we normally wear our Marathon t-shirts on Wednesdays, the day of the concert all students must be in their regular uniform. There are no out of uniform passes allowed on the day of the concert.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, and neighbors are encouraged to attend the afternoon performance.
6:30 p.m. Performance
For the evening performance, students should wear their Sunday best, or be in their school uniform. Please remember when planning clothes, it gets very warm in the church when there are so many students there at once. Please dress accordingly.
The church doors will be locked after the 1:30 p.m. performance and opened at 6 p.m. before the evening performance.
Students should meet their homeroom teacher or advisor in their assigned spot in the church between 6:10 and 6:20 p.m.
After the concert, all students will return to their assigned spot. To ensure the safety of all students, every student along with a parent must check out with their homeroom teacher or advisor before leaving the church.
It has been our pleasure and privilege to work with your kids to prepare for the concert. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for your support!
